Solar System Simulation
Explore the Solar System in a live 3D N-body simulation.
Solar System Simulation lets you observe planets, moons, dwarf planets, asteroids, and comets moving under gravity in real time. Built with a Velocity Verlet integrator and real-world-inspired astronomical data, it is an interactive space sandbox for exploring orbital motion, scale, and celestial mechanics.
Pause time, change the simulation speed, switch between compressed and expanded visual scales, inspect celestial bodies, compare measured and theoretical orbital periods, and follow objects as they travel through the system.
Want to experiment? Open God Mode to apply velocity impulses, create custom bodies or comets, enable physical collisions, and observe how the system reacts.

Controls
Mouse: Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, and click a celestial body to inspect it.
Space: Pause or resume the simulation.
+ / - or arrow keys: Change simulation speed.
1–9: Focus major Solar System bodies.
F: Focus the selected body.
R: Return to the system overview.
Tab: Search for a body.
H: Toggle immersive mode.
?: Open the shortcuts panel.
Esc: Close panels or exit the current interaction.
Desktop free-flight mode:
Click the scene, then use mouse look and WASD. Use Q/E for vertical movement and Shift to move faster.
Mobile:
Touch drag and pinch interactions are supported, but free-flight mode is desktop-only. Mobile performance depends on the device.
Requirements
A modern desktop browser with WebGL support is recommended.
No installation or internet connection is required after the game loads.
The in-game interface is currently available in Brazilian Portuguese.
Important note
This is an educational visualization and interactive sandbox, not a precision astronomical ephemeris. Initial orbital phases are arranged for readability rather than to reproduce the exact sky on a specific date.
